My Name is Michael Thompson, and This is Why I Founded Paternity Fraud UK
On 15 May 2020, at exactly 4:30 pm, my life was torn apart. An email arrived from the DNA testing company — the result I feared, but desperately hoped wouldn’t be true. In black and white, it confirmed what no man ever wants to read: the child I had loved and raised as my own was not biologically mine.
The shock was overwhelming. The betrayal, indescribable. In a single moment, everything I believed about my life, my family, and my future came crashing down.
As if that wasn’t enough, I soon discovered she had been having an affair — not just with anyone, but with a married man 20 years her senior. A man with a family of his own. While I was trying to build a life with her, she was building lies behind my back.
I founded Paternity Fraud UK because no one should go through this hell alone. What happened to me is not rare — it's happening to men across the country every single day. Deceived. Emotionally exploited. Financially drained. And left to pick up the pieces with little or no support.
Our mission is clear:
To support every man affected by paternity fraud.
To guide victims through the legal system, the emotional fallout, and the deep psychological scars.
To fight for justice — pushing for mandatory DNA testing at birth, and real legal reform that recognises the devastating impact of this betrayal.
